A look at the history of motorcycling and a glimpse into the future!

Thanks to all who rode in to the Forgotten Works Warehouse in Viroqua to attend the inaugural Lorem Ipsum Vintage Motorcycle Rally in 2010. Just about everyone who came commented favorably, and it seems there's good enough reason to do it again next year. We have been kicking around the idea of making it an over-nighter with camping in Romance, Wisconsin. If you haven't been there, it's about half-way between Viroqua and the Mississippi on HWY 56...a nice 20-minute ride. There will be occasional updates over the coming year on this web page (bookmark it...I perform quarterly updates on this site) and of course an official Facebook page.

until then, maybe your curiosity can be satiated by Eric Snowdeal's excellent Lorem Ipsum photo album, the excellent Lorem Ipsum photos in Chad Berger's Flickr photostream, or the photos below of almost all the bikes that showed up. I've provided year/make/model for the ones I know (the Guzzis), and if one of these bikes is yours, contact me and give me the info (if you'd like to see it listed). Or, if it's not your bike and you just want to freely provide the details, you could contact me, too. Any feedback is welcome!

Dick's awesome motorcycle history tent.

Our host, the Forgotten Works Warehouse, in the background. All agreed it was a pretty decent turn-out for a first-year event. Hope to see you there next year!
