The 13 Virtues according to Benjamin Franklin

The copy for this typographical masterpiece (please) was pulled directly out of a book entitled "Ben Franklin's Wit & Wisdom," published by the Peter Pauper Press, with no copyright or publication date listed. What the brief preface does say is, "Of course, not all of the sayings here are original with old Ben..." But that's besides the point. Is that supposed to be besides or beside? You'd think I'd know that.
