1998

"...and when a train goes by..." is the first series of collages in a series of collages produced by Mister Koppa between 1998 and 2007. They are all positively incredible. The series debuted in January, 1998 (Mister Koppa = 28) in the debut exhibition of Mister Koppa's work at the Charles Allis Museum of Art in Milwaukee, where Mister Koppa and then-Richard Waswo-now-Waswo X. Waswo (a fine photographer and photographic printer) joined creative efforts for a show titled "Travels." James Auer of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel gave it a flattering review. All very nice and in the middle of the beginning of figuring out what being an artist means and or is (still figuring). Special thanks to Jerry Karidis, friend.
